About Alyssa

I grew up in a blended family of health care workers at both parents’ houses just South of North Bay, Ontario. I was and am loved, but struggled with self-worth and constantly feeling like I’m “doing it wrong”. I’ve had support from close friends and my own therapist. I’ve experienced many painful moments in my life. Compassionate self-love isn’t easy for everyone. I started to be more intentional about caring for myself and noticed less of those old negative self-judgements drowning out the positive aspects of life. The judgements are still there even now, but they’re just not as loud.

Being outside in my garden, cooking, yoga, creative movement, and spending time with my cat Maggie and the people I care about are protective factors to my health and wellbeing. This is true especially when life gets tough.

What does your natural self need?

If you’ve tried to power through and think your way out of problems or difficult feelings on your own, it’s important to remember that everyone needs help sometimes. Many emotional wounds require a caring witness to begin to heal.

Together we can make space for all of your emotions and experiences. If you’re ready to make changes or really get to know your Natural Self, I’m ready to meet you.
